Seda Demirel TOPEL, Ph.D

Seda Demirel Topel received her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry (2013, Akdeniz University, Turkey). In the first years of her Ph.D., she joined the Natural Products group as a researcher at Lund University, Sweden, then continued her Ph.D. studies at the National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM), Bilkent University, Ankara Turkey, in the field of organic hybrid nanoparticles for photodynamic therapy (2010-2013). She worked as a post-Doc fellow at the Department of Molecular Sciences, SLU, Uppsala, Sweden, from 2013-2014. Currently, she is working as Assist. Prof. at the Department of Electrical &Electronics Engineering at Antalya Bilim University since 2017. Her research interests include synthesizing and characterizing various nanoparticles such as silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide, superparamagnetic iron oxide, and upconversion nanoparticles and their hybrid forms with organic ligands for theranostics, bio-imaging, and controlled drug delivery applications.

Timur Tongur, Ph.D.

Timur Tongur received his bachelor's in Chemistry from Hacettepe University, Ankara in 2004. Then he worked in several laboratories in food safety analysis, particularly pesticide analysis, until 2012. Between 2012 and 2018, he started at the Food Safety and Agricultural Research Center at Akdeniz University. He received his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry (2020, Akdeniz University, Turkey) in the field of pesticide removal from an aqueous environment by adsorption onto activated carbon cloth. His research interests include chromatographic techniques, mass spectroscopy, adsorption, food analysis, and pesticide analysis. He is currently conducting a TUBITAK project supported by Akdeniz University and Antalya Bilim University under the 2531 TUBITAK-DAD project.

Yakup YAÅžAR, undergrad. fellow

Yakup YAÅžAR is a senior student at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Akdeniz University. His research interests include MOSFET circuits, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, buck circuits, and obtaining products on a nanoscale. He is currently working as a Star TUBITAK scholar in the 1071 TUBITAK -DAAD project at senanolab at Antalya Bilim University.

Buse YONCA, undergrad.fellow

Buse YONCA is a student of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Antalya Bilim University. Her research interests include atomic layer deposition (ALD), electronic devices, circuits and systems, nanoscale devices, sensors, and systems. She is currently running the 2531 Tubitak-DAAD project at senanolab at Antalya Bilim University, and working as an undergrad scholar.
